In the current context of globalization, we find a tension that, although it does not exhaust the entire spectrum of relationships between justice and ethics, in our opinion plays a decisive role. It deals with the confrontation between a scheme of ethics and justice characteristic of the current system of globalization and a scheme of ethics and justice originating from the diverse forms of resistance and a scheme of ethics and justice originanting from the diverse forms of resistance to this imperial order. The first shapes a complementary nucleus of legal formlism, legal positivim, functional ethics and the band of thieves ethic: the second scheme formulates an ethic of life as a basis for an ethic of liberation, which is associated with a concept of justice that is oriented by the common good and the hope for a society qhere we love all human beings and all worlds and cultures.
