It is presented the objects or specimens illegally stolen from natural or archaeological sites in African villages or communities. Excerpts from national legislation are included alongside these descriptions as witnesses to the illegality of such acts. All the objects presented in this brochure represent only a small part of the catastrophe which has hit Africa´s heritage. The reality of such a tragedy would require the publication of several issues according to country and to region.
