<br/><br/> Uno de los fenómenos menos estudiados en el país es el de las pandillas juveniles. En este artículo, el autor presenta los resultados de una investigación realizada en el Macrodistrito Max Paredes. A partir de estudios de caso, revisión hemerográfica y sistematización y análisis de estadísticas policiales se brinda información sobre las pandillas juveniles en La Paz, quiénes las integran, cuáles son sus características, dónde actúan y qué tipo de dinámicas generan en la ciudad.<br/>  Youth gangs are one of the least studied phenomena in Bolivia. In this article, the author presents the results of research carried out in the Max Paredes Macrodistrict. Based on case studies, a review of newspaper reports and the systematization and analysis of police statistics, it provides information on youth gangs in La Paz, who their members are, their typical characteristics, where they operate and what type of dynamics they generate in the city.
