Cruxent, J. M.

An archeological chronology of Venezuela. - Washington - US Pan American Union 1958 - 277 p.

Contiene: The first volume, presented herewith, contains the entire text of the monograph; the second, to be issued shortly, will contain the plates and figures. The monograph is of importance because an attempt has been made to describe and analize exhaustively all that is known or could be discovered about the archaeology of Venezuela, thus presenting as complete a picture of the status of that science as possible. We hope that it will be a stimulus to further research and that it will also serve as a means of testing and refining the chronology which the authors present. A principal mission of the social science program is the promotion and development of the social science in our hemisphere. We believe this nomograph makes a significant contribution to this objetive.
