Although the emphasis in this collection is primarily on linguistics and anthropology, travel accounts, archaeological reports, toponymies, and bibliographies are includes. The bibliography covers all the languages of Bolivia except Aymara and Quechua. The entries include material of both existing languages and those no longer in existence.
