520 3 _aDocumentation to accompany the musical instruments from Bolivia (South America), collected for the Horniman Museum in February 1987. The collection was made during a years research (sepl. 1986-sept. 1987) of music amongst the traditional rural communities of Bolivia. Most of the year was spent in Northern Potosi (see map 1) which borders the area of southern Potosi where Vitichi pinkillos are made and played.
