520 | _aUntil 1811, when the Paraguay born as an independent republic located on the east bank of the river of the same name, different colonial titles give the Real Pool Hearing - Bolivia's future - its undisputed ownership of the territory of the Chaco Boreal. The various Paraguayan governments, unable to oppose them with other conclusively defining clear and were engaging them steadily to resort to war, assured of the extensive military, financial and diplomatic support he received from the Argentine government. During the war, territorial ambition backed by a colonial legal premise and encouraged by the neighboring republic ally, did not hold back as their own adding a huge swath to side with the Department of Beni. As in every war, also in Chaco joint interests converged, each waiting to seize a slice territorial sown oil. The war had two phases: the military campaign and the diplomatic campaign, a total of six years, which makes us conclude that Bolivia faced simultaneously and concurrently five enemies in the next degree of importance: the unhealthy climate which decimated the Bolivian army, the Argentina republic logistically kept the Paraguayan army, advised him in planning their operations and contributed with Argentine citizens as combatants; the oil company that gave Standard Oil and fuel oils of Bolivian origin, marine, aviation and army Guarani; Republic of Paraguay artificially maintained its military ally and decimated by his opponent to a minimum of 12,500 combatants; Finally, the Chilean government hoped that the Bolivian territory was divided among its neighbors and by extension, disappeared as a state.
